Announcements

This week's newsletter from The Community of St James: Rebuilding is a Spiritual Gift

Taizé Service: We shall gather for a 7 pm service on Wednesday, November 25th. The theme this month is Wisdom. We hope those of you who are comfortable might join us for this safe, socially distanced worship experience. Please call (519-843-2141) or email the church office to reserve your seat.

The Bishop's Advent Message: Bishop Susan reflects on the spiritual discipline and gift of waiting.

WORSHIP AT ST JAMES: We have returned to in-person worship space. Our instructional video for re-gathering may be found HERETo reserve your place for in-person worship... reservations are open Monday morning until Thursday, noon (unless we are full...at which time you will be advised of this situation and your options). Worship will be Sundays at 10:30 (Contemporary Eucharist with Music) and Wednesdays at 10:30 (BCP, said service). Both service times require reservations. Please contact the office at st.jameschurch@wightman.ca or 519-843-2141 for more information

We will still produce The Quiet Curve of Hope each week to view at home and also direct you to the Bishop's service on Sunday mornings at 10 am. You do not need to have a Facebook account to watch this live.

THE CHALLENGE FACTOR: Yes, we are behind. But we are catching up...all because of you! I'll admit that it is very rewarding to donate to active ministry like feeding our neighbours and supporting mission and ministry near and far. And I know, "Snow is not sexy!" but so much ministry would not happen if we let our physical plant go.
At St. James, we also know that keeping the "house in order" means we have a place from which ministry can be offered and a place we can offer to others for their own work and rest.
Think about The Challenge Factor... choose your category… make your donation.
You can give all, some, part, any of the donations invited!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
